Here's Jerry interacting with some very tame Lined Butterflyfish (Chaetodon lineolatus) at Honaunau, Hawaii. The Lined Butterflyfish is the largest butterflyfish species here in Hawaii.Bobbie
This is a wonderful picture. I doubt if I would ever see any except here.Well, are they good to eat? Even if they are, they would be too pretty for eating.Happy WW! Thank you, yes, Adi is cute most of the time. :-)..
Wow, now that's a capture! Very beautiful. Have a blessed and happy WW!
That's awesome! How long do you stay underwater usually?
nice shot. i like this underwater pics
I wish I were there right now :) Great shot!!
color coordinated -- I don't suppose Jerry dressed for the occasion. (:
Have beautiful is this! I love the matching yellows! Great stuff again, guys!Happy WW:)
Another great shot! Was he petting the fish or playing?
Hi Wordless Wednesday fans. Thank you all for stopping by.@ Jim, not these are not food fish.@ ZJ - it depends, but on average, about an hour at a time.@ Pamela & Jos - We were wondering if anyone would notice that Jerry and the fish were color coordinated. Heh heh. It was not done on purpose, but it did work out well, didn't it?@ Martie - These fish kept returning and sort of nibbling on Jerry's glove. We think they must have been fed by other divers before us. They were much friendlier than individuals of their species usually are.
I have nothing else to say but Wow!Really. You're blessed to be able to (always) come that close with a sea creature.
NOW, that is simply PRICELESS!!! I'm WORDLESS:DMine is up here;Wordless WednesdayHappy WW!
What a beautiful encounter. The blues and the yellows of each creature are lovely.

I should revise my previous entry regarding naturally occurring color, stating that I'm only referring to surface colors. How quickly I forget that there's so much incredibly vibrant color underwater! Beautiful shot! Happy WW!
