I took this shot from a little below the pastel soft corals in the foreground, shooting upwards at an angle toward the surface. Those are thousands of small fish near the top of the reef -- not swarms of insects!
Your pictures always make me want to try diving again, I tried it years ago in college and decided maybe I am more the snorkling kinda girl, but these pictures are fantastic.

I really, really like this one! My daughter's boyfriend is in the fish business and he set up a reef tank for us the other day. The colors are unbelieveable. I can't wait to get some fish too!
