Hi Bobby, this is quite a nice looking turtle. It is good to see all the sea creatures that you find. It makes me more aware of Mother Nature's little friends.

Bobbie, I love your turtle. I have a turtle to post for Photo Hunters tomorrow. However, the turtle is in an aquarium at Coney Island, NY. I'm glad you liked the "chapeau" as you call it on my ballerina. I think it looks like a bathing cap from years ago! Ha! :) Say hello to Jerry!
I agree with those of you who mentioned a fascination for sea turtles. I'm always happy to see them in the water or on the beach, but I don't have an explanation for why they seem so compelling. Maybe, as Daisy said, it's because they look wise and friendly -- certainly they never seem threatening.
